You must over at least eighteen (18) years old to use our services. If you are under this age, you are not permitted to use our site.
We collect personal data on our website including the following information:
- E-mail Address
- Phone Number
- Payment Information
- Usage Data
We do NOT share or sell your information to third parties. We only share with outside companies to the extent necessary to complete your order.
We use/disclose the information that you provide us in the following ways.
- To setup/manage an account for you in our system.
- To provide support/information for you during the photo scanning process.
- To contact you with order information.
- To provide you with marketing opportunities or news about our company.
- To notify you of changes in our policies.
- To prevent fraud or for risk management purposes.
- To comply with legal obligations or court orders.
- For other purposes including promotional campaigns, usage trends, etc.
We are very concerned about your security. However, your information is traveling electronically across the internet. We cannot 100% guarantee the security of your information during this process.
If you access or visit a third-party social network that is integrated with our site, we might also obtain personal information in this manner. In addition, please make sure you are comfortable with the privacy settings/policies of those social networks.

Services Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Passion for Pixels, you agree to our Service Terms & Conditions. We agree to enter into a non-exclusive contract for us to digitize and organize your photos onto a USB flash drive and a server in a CLOUD. We will communicate with you during this entire process and will provide tracking and updates for your order.
You agree that you will not send us photos that:
- violate copyright laws; and/or
- are obscene, offensive or violate state or federal law or a third party.
Federal copyright law requires permission of the photographer to scan, copy or reproduce photographs and images that are copyrighted. By submitting an order, you agree that you have permission to duplicate the photo.
We will not knowingly scan photos that are copyrighted. If we discover these types of photos, we will have to comply with applicable law and report this information to the relevant authorities.
If there are legal disputes due to submitting copyrighted photos, you and/or the holder of the copyright are responsible for all costs during the dispute.
ACCESS TO YOUR PHOTOS ONLINE
For the first year, we will store your photos on our Cloud site. We use a third-party provider (SmugMug) to offer this service to you.
You acknowledge that we do not control the online hosting at our Cloud provider and we do not have any liability or control over your photos on that site. You agree to hold us harmless for any actions that could happen to your photos on this site such as loss, destruction, unavailability, etc.
You can sign up to continue to use our Cloud service after the first year. If you chose to add on this service, your credit card on file will be charged $9.99 per year (automatic renewals each year). You can cancel this service at any time by e-mailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We use USPS Priority Mail to ship our bulk photo scanning packages. USPS offers its customers $100 insurance on Priority Mail packages. If you package is lost or damaged in the mail, you can submit a claim for up to $100 at https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm.
We cannot guarantee that your photos will not be damaged or lost by the shipping carrier and we don't assume risk of loss during transit.
There is a risk with shipping and you agree not to hold our company liable for loss or damage.
Your online bulk photo scanning order is good for a 1 year time period (365 days). Please make sure that you send your photos us to us in the box that we mail to you. Or you can got to USPS and request a similar size box and mail your photos to us. If you chose the local option, you have a year to schedule your pickup time with us. After this time, we cannot guarantee a refund.
If you sent us your photos and we completed your order, please contact us if you are unsatisfied with your order. If we can't fix the issue, then our refund policy is as follows:
- You can receive 100% of your purchase back as store credit; OR
- You can have your purchase refunded less a $25 fee for every 2,500 photos scanned.
- For example, if you scan 5,000 photos, then we will refund your entire purchase less a $50 ($25x2) fee to cover shipping and thumb drive costs.
- We will also remove your photos from our Cloud drive if you chose to refund your purchase.
When you send us your photos, this constitutes an agreement by you that any loss or damage by our company or agents will not grant you any recovery and we are not providing a warranty. We provide a service as is and without fault. You agree to be limited to store credit up to the amount of the disputed transaction and there will be no additional punitive damages (direct or indirect) awarded.
That being said, we will provide you with our best service and our goal is to protect your photos in every way possible.
If any loss or damage is due to an act of God or natural disaster, we are not responsible or liable for this damage. This includes any outages at third party hosing sites that we may use for our service.
